Introduction
This article contains information about a Learner’s view of the Course Catalog. Learners can use this article to learn how to access the course catalog, navigate its contents, and even register for courses if their institution allows it.
How do I access the Course Catalog?
To access the Course Catalog, you will need to log into Enterprise+. After logging in, please click “Register” on the left-hand side.
*Please note that some institutions allow anonymous users (users who are not logged in) to browse the course catalog. However, this is decided by each institution. If you are unsure if your institute allows anonymous users to browse the course catalog, please reach out to your local site administrator.*
How do I navigate the Course Catalog?
There are a few things you can do in the Course Catalog.
- First, if you ever need to navigate back to your Learner Dashboard, simply click “Dashboard” on the left-hand side.
- Second, to find a course to register for, you may either search for it using the search bar at the top of the page or use the filter lists below the search bar. A list of the current filters in the Course Catalog is below along with their brief descriptions.
- Categories of Courses – This will filter the courses in the Course Catalog according to a category your institution has assigned to each course.
- Dates of Courses – This will filter the courses in the Course Catalog according to an offering date(s) your institution has assigned to each course.
- Competencies of Courses – This will filter the courses in the Course Catalog according to the competencies your institution has assigned to each course.
- Tags of Courses – This will filter the courses in the Course Catalog according to the competencies your institution has assigned to each course.
- Delivery Methods of Courses – This will filter the courses in the Course Catalog according to the delivery methods (such as online or hybrid) your institution has assigned to each course.
- Locations of Courses – This will filter the courses in the Course Catalog according to the physical locations your institution has assigned to each course.
Please note that the above filter options in the Course Catalog will depend on how your institution organizes courses.
3. Third, if you wish to learn more about a particular learning path or course in the Course Catalog, you can click “Info” on the bottom left of its square. Doing so will bring up information such as applicable price if the course costs money, descriptions about what the course will be about, and, if it’s a Learning Path, a list of courses inside the Learning Path.
4. Finally, to register for a course or learning path, you will need to click “Register” in the bottom right. If your institution has shopping carts enabled, it will be added to your cart. After it is added to your cart, you can click “Check Out” in the top right corner. If a payment method needs to be added, select the appropriate one for you. Make sure to also apply a coupon code if you have one (please note that not all institutions use coupon codes). Then click “Make a Payment”. If the course does not require payment, simply click “Confirm”. After clicking “Make a Payment” or “Confirm”, the bottom right button on the course you’re registering for should show as Enrolled. If it shows as something else, please make sure to contact your local site administrator.
