Accessing Courses - Genius CE & Enterprise

Accessing your Courses

 In your Learner's Dashboard, return to the box titled Active Courses. You will see a course card representing each course the learner is enrolled in. 

To access your course content, simply click "Go to Course" at the bottom of each course card.

A new tab or window will open in your browser, leading you to the selected course's landing page in your LMS or to an external link configured.

From your LMS

You can also access your courses directly from within the interface of your LMS. However, if your organization has onsite as well as online and blended learning opportunities, you may not see all of the courses that you are registered in. 

Genius CE & Enterprise will display the results of your progression even if you did not access the course directly from your Learner's Dashboard. You can access your courses directly from the LMS' interface with confidence, as both the LMS and the Registration component of your learning experience are in sync.

About your Live or Onsite Courses

As we mentioned above, your organization may have onsite or live, synchronous courses. In those cases, Genius CE & Enterprise will still create a tile in the Active Courses section of your dashboard, even if the course has no link to an LMS course site. 

Courses that take place live or at onsite locations will generally rely on Genius CE & Enterprise to store grade and attendance information, amongst others. For those courses, Genius CE & Enterprise will be the main system of record for progress, performance and engagement information.
