Introduction
Google Analytics is a platform that gives you the free tools you need to analyze data for your business in one place. Now, you can use Google Analytics in tandem with your Genius CE or Enterprise instance to gain insights on the effectiveness of your business strategies and plans.
Please note that the Google Analytics account must be set up prior to linking it to a Genius CE or Enterprise instance. We currently support Google Analytics 4, NOT Google Analytics UA.
Setting Up Google Analytics for the Course Catalog*
In a Genius CE or Enterprise instance, Administrators can associate Google Analytics to the Course Catalog Configurations.
This can be found in Administration > System Setup > Catalog Configuration:
Scroll to the bottom right and enter Measurement ID:
Clicking the "How do I find my Measurement ID?" link sends the user to this page:
Once the user determines their Measurement ID, they can enter it into Genius CE or Enterprise in the relevant field. To turn it off, remove the Measurement ID from the field.
