Configuring Section Start and End Dates in Class+

How To Configure Section Start and End Dates

Go to the Sections Tab in Genius

Click on the Section you would like to configure

Once you are on the Section Main page, click on “Edit Information” located in the left navigation block.

 

Here you can adjust the start and end date behavior for your section. Ther are two key factors that tells Genius how to determine the start and end dates.

• Setting the Start and End dates will cause the section to begin and end for everyone at the same time.
• Leave the Start and End dates blank (for rolling enrollments) Genius calculates the End date based on the number of weeks set at the section level from the time of enrollment. (Red Arrow)
